Individual, Family, and Group Therapy for Adults & Teens
Our clinicians offer empathic and non-judgmental therapy for adolescents and adults, aiming to create a space to explore both your struggles and successes, learning together how you want to move through life and relationships. We are trained in a variety of modalities, including cognitive behavioral and psychodynamically-oriented techniques, which we will utilize in whatever ways best fit your needs and goals.
We have experience working with partners of all genders, relationship models, and orientations. Ultimately, we aim to provide inclusive and culturally competent care from the moment you reach out to our practice.
Individual Therapy
As a practice, we frequently work with adults and adolescents; transgender and non-binary people; creative and performing artists; people living with chronic illness & chronic pain; people with a history of trauma or loss in their families of origin; members of poly and kink communities; sex workers; and people experiencing depression, anxiety, and difficulty tolerating strong emotions. Our practice is death-positive and respectfully leans into discussions around terminal illness, grief, loss, and fears around death and dying.
Partner/Family Therapy
The families our therapists work with are motivated to develop greater closeness and vulnerability, and to make their relationships more fulfilling and satisfying for all parties. No family or relationship is 100% conflict-free, but we can learn to communicate in ways that are honest and loving, even during times of conflict. Partners can learn to identify their own relational needs, and explore issues originating from unresolved or unmet needs from an earlier time.
Gender-Affirming Care
Our practice celebrates and affirms the lived experiences of trans and nonbinary people and is committed to to the principles of bodily autonomy. Our practice follows recommendations of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care version 8, which was released in October 2022.
You can read the current version of WPATH’s Soc. 8 here.
